Don and Carmel Churchill bring over 70 years of combined international experience in real estate, management of vacation rentals, attractions, hotels, consulting services, destination marketing, and hotel sales and are familiar with all aspects of the Grand Bahama business environment

The combined skills of Carmel with her tourism and hospitality marketing background and Don s real estate and hospitality management experience, will assist our clients to maximize the benefits from the synergy of the real estate market and the hospitality industry on Grand Bahama.
At the time Don came to the Bahamas in 1994 from Canada he was working for Delta Hotels on a team that specialized in taking over and managing distressed hotels on behalf of owners and financial institutions. He was here to manage a project for a subsidiary of a Canadian financial institution intending to stay about six months
The project actually lasted two years and he had met Carmel during his time here and they decided to marry and remain in The Bahamas
During Don s time on Grand Bahama he was Chief Operating Officer for 8 years at Unexso and the Dolphin Experience, managed a vacation rental resort and has been licensed as a real estate salesperson for nine years. Don has also been a consultant for the Caribbean Tourism Organization as a Hospitality Assured Advisor and worked on projects in Dominica and Grenada
Carmel served as the Director of Marketing Services for The Grand Bahama Island Tourism Board from 2014 to 2018 and is currently serving as the Marketing Consultant for the organization. During her time at the Board she served as Chairperson of the Marketing Committee and has more than 22 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
Carmel has a Masters Degree in Hospitality and Tourism as well as a number of Management certifications from Howard University and James Madison University. Her extraordinary accolade of becoming the third licensed female General Contractor from the Grand Bahama Port Authority allows her to lend that expertise during various construction projects for clients.
Carmels civic and community involvement includes her previously serving as Co host of a local radio talk show Natural Resources, past Secretary of the Grand Bahama Chamber of Commerce 2013 to 2014 a Director on two separate terms at the Chamber of Commerce, Chairing the Public Relations Committee during her last term
